Set your compass to the Tenth Annual North Star Genealogy Conference. The two-day event features:

  • Plenary lectures by nationally acclaimed genealogy educators, Paula Stuart-Warren and Cyndi Ingle
  • 20 breakout presentations by leading speakers from five states
  • New Location: The Earle Brown Conference Center is brimming with Minnesota heritage – it is an historic family farm converted to a modern conference center
  • Plus, exhibitors, vendors, and door prizes add to the fun!

Learning takes top billing at North Star, but it is also your opportunity to make new friends who share your enthusiasm for family history.

Pre-conference DNA Day – 5 October 2017

North Star DNA Day is an exciting full-day genetic genealogy learning opportunity.

Learn the value of adding DNA to your genealogy toolbox through informative lectures and small group discussions. With an emphasis on autosomal DNA, instructors will illustrate:

  • DNA basics
  • Testing risks
  • Ethics of genetic genealogy
  • Use of third-party analysis tools

North Star DNA Day will keep you up-to-date with the rapidly evolving world of genetic genealogy. The curriculum is designed to advance the skills of both researchers just starting their genetic genealogy journey and those who have already taken DNA tests and are ready for more advanced analysis tools.

North Star DNA Day requires separate registration.
